Message	after numerous attempts to get it working I'm switching to adjustable intake cam gears as I have an event this weekend and need to unlock the power. Fingers crossed it does the trick. Anyway, I digress. The setup is IPP stage 4 heads, jwt solid lifter cams, bde vtc gears. we've tested the solenoids and they work, checked all wiring, and the last test operated them while the car was idling and no change. I can hear the solenoid click but no difference to idle as you would have expected. Also checked the cam gears by undoing the cover plates and they're getting oil. What's strange is that I had the same problem with my old heads and jwt 500 cams but thought that was just us failing to get the output working from the AEM. could the solonoids be worn and not staying open? Anybody seen this before?
